JULIANNE ANDREW

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL, HEAD OF DANCE & CHOREOGRAPHER

Julianne joined Dancepoint as a student at 16 when the school first opened and has been dancing since she was just 6 years old! She studied privately for 6 years with Principal Robert Hamilton, studying a highly intensive dance and musical theatre course and has also gained a HNC in Musical Theatre at Langside College and then gained her higher national Diploma in Dance at Reid Kerr College.   Julianne has over 13 years working experience in the dance and musical theatre industry.

Julianne went on to dance professionally overseas and offshore on various jobs and since returning has worked and choreographed on many projects with several dance companies Touring the world !

Julianne has worked full time with Dancepoint since 2008 and been assistant choreographer on some of the schools most successful recent projects including Fear of the Unknown, Mini Moves and Dance Illusion.  The various acts have reached the finals of Sky’s Got To Dance and ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and performed at a host of prestigious events in the UK and around the World.

Julianne is now the Assistant Principal, but also Choreographer and the Head of Dance at Dancepoint Studios and continues to train dancers for events world wide in France, Spain. London, Guernsey, Germany, Hong Kong, Bahrain and the USA.  Her dancers have just recently reached the final on BBC’s The Greatest Dancer.

Julianne now lectures at Dancepoint College training students and helping them gain their qualification in professional dance.
